Glen Metropolit scored two goals, including the eventual game winner, to lead the Canadiens to a 5-3 home win against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Metropolit had four goals on the season before scoring two tonight. Marc-Andre Bergeron scored two while Maxim Lapierre scored the other goals for the Canadiens.
Canadiens Score Three In Third To Beat Blue Jackets
Antoine Vermette scored two in the loss for Columbus including a power play goal. Overall, the Blue Jackets went two for four on the power play. The Blue Jackets are the third best power play in the league, converting at a 25% rate. Anton Stralman scored the other goal for the Blue Jackets. Mathieu Garon was in for the loss.
