Alabama Man Repeatedly Mistaken for Mount Cody

Between the hair and the size -- 6-foot-3, 304 lbs. -- it’d be easy to mistake this man to the right, Willie Holmes, for Terrence Cody. But it is not him, so you can stop asking him for autographs.↵↵Holmes was a potential juror in Baldwin County and had jurors and judges debating whether he was actually Mount Cody. Evidently Holmes played defensive tackle in high school and is a Bama fan despite attending Alabama A&M.↵
↵↵⇥Holmes said at one point, Presiding Circuit Judge James Reid even announced to jurors that “we have a celebrity in the courtroom,” joking that Cody was in the building. ↵⇥↵⇥Reid, who admitted to be an Alabama fan, said Monday afternoon that he knew the whole time that Cody wasn’t in his courtroom, but he still told the look-alike to joke with his clerk and tell her he’s the star player.↵⇥

↵⇥[Holmes] said after the Tennessee game, when Cody blocked two field goals, he was praised for his game-winning effort and was asked for autographs at a local Walmart.↵⇥
↵↵↵Being mistaken for Terrence Cody might not be complimentary, given his size and all, but hey, it’s better than being mistake for this guy.↵
