Colts S Bob Sanders To Undergo Surgery

The Indianapolis Star reports that oft-injured Colts safety Bob Sanders will have surgery on his injured elbow, and will be out for an as of yet undetermined period.

Sanders injured his elbow during last week’s win over the Niners, and sought Dr. James Andrews’ opinion yesterday. Sanders’ loss will be a blow to a defense reeling with injuries: both starting cornerbacks, as well as starting linebacker Tyjuan Hagler will be out for this weekend’s game against the Texans (with Marlin Jackson and Hagler out for the year).
