East Carolina Mascot Is Strippery

ECU has done some quality rebranding recently. Look no further than their impressive skull and crossbones helmet that debuted last night for evidence of their marketing skills, or to the smashing North Carolina-shaped pirate logo at midfield. Someone hired the quality art school grads to revamp the branding, and it’s paying off.

↵The new pirate, though, bears a striking resemblance not to Jack Sparrow, but to a male stripper the team hired for an office party who just happened to stay for the game.

"Ladies, did someone say...booty?" At that point someone hits play on the boom box, the music starts, and then we all get reaaaaaaaally awkward until someone pays him to stop. BTW, you might think it's a funny idea to hire a male stripper for your friend's bachelor party, but we assure you: Unless you want to redefine awkward, it is neither funny nor wise.
