The Hawkeyes aren’t the only team in Iowa City to suffer a quarterback injury. Northwestern starter Mike Kafka, who has been nursing a halftime injury, sat out several series in the first half. Backup Dan Persa was knocked out of the game by a hard hit, forcing the less-than-healthy Kafka to take the field.
