If You Want a Beijing Olympics Condom, You Gotta Buy 5,000 of Them

The Chinese government distributed 100,000 complimentary condoms to athletes during the Beijing Olympics last summer. Apparently the Olympic Village wasn’t an erotic enough place, for there were more than a few leftovers.

↵One enterprising soul, sensing an opportunity for profit snatched up 5,000 of the not terribly prized prophylactics to put them up for auction online.
↵↵⇥Each condom wrapper carries the motto of the Beijing Games - faster, higher, stronger - in English and Chinese.↵↵That seems appropriate.

↵Problem is, while the condoms are being priced for a mere $0.15 each, any potential buyer must dole out the mullah for the full 5,000. So if you want your lifetime supply of condoms to bear the Olympic rings, there you go. Maybe if they had a torch design on the latex, it might be worth it.↵
