Chiefs Officially Release Larry Johnson

The Larry Johnson Era in K.C. has come to its conclusion Monday morning, as the team has announced on its official website that the RB is no longer a Chief. Johnson, who will be the dreaded 30 years old in 10 days, will now enter waivers with any team having a chance to claim his 2.7 yards per carry.

Over at SB Nation’s Arrowhead Pride, they have a list of LJ’s highlights over his six-year span as a Chief.
