The revelations from Open, Andre Agassi’s autobiography, keep coming. At the rate they’re coming out, you have to wonder what’s even left on the pages at this point. One of the best excerpts you’ll find floating around today comes courtesy of EW.com:↵↵⇥“Violent by nature...he keeps an ax handle in his car. He leaves the house with a handful of salt and pepper in each pocket, in case he’s in a street fight and needs to blind someone.”↵↵↵In other words, Mike Agassi was a fan of the Dale Gribble pocket sand technique:↵

↵Other significant proponent of the pocket sand technique: Rickety Cricket. (Some NSFW-ness in that clip.) In all seriousness, Agassi’s life has some bizarre stories that have led him to where he is today. If you’re going out to purchase the book, the hope has to be that this isn’t like a comedy where they showed all the funny parts in the ads.

↵(And in case you wondered, yes, the book is available now.)↵
