All-American Teams Announced, You’ll Hate Something About Them

The AP announced their All-Americans today, and you will undoubtedly hate something about them.

↵For instance, if you are a Big Ten or Pac-10 fan, you should just skip this story altogether if you have anger management problems. The two conferences combined to put just one player each on the first team, Michigan State linebacker Greg Jones for the Big Ten, and running back Toby Gerhart of Stanford for the Pac-10.

↵

Continue the rage-induction: SEC players took eleven first-team slots, including six overall for Alabama and seven for Florida. (Tim Tebow took the second team spot at qb; Colt McCoy got the first-team spot at the position.) The Big 12 nabbed seven first-team spots, including three of the top offensive linemen.

↵

What does this prove? Nothing you didn’t already suspect in that the SEC and Big 12, while not producing any more talent by NFL draft numbers, certainly have a way of getting the media’s attentions.
