Phillies Officially Announce That Cliff Lee Has Been Traded

It’s just a formality at this point, but the Phillies announced Wednesday afternoon that pitcher Cliff Lee has officially been traded to the Mariners in exchange for Phillippe Aumont, Tyson Gillies and Juan Ramirez.

Obviously the second part of this deal for Philly is the trade of Kyle Drabek, Michael Taylor (who will then be traded to the A’s for Brett Wallace) and Travis d’Arnaud to Toronto for Roy Halladay, which should be made official shortly.
