Kawika Mitchell Issues Less-Than-Glowing Endorsement of Richie Incognito
↵
↵
↵↵Lost in the swirling NFL news cycle with Chris Henry’s death and Vinny Cerrato’s resignation was the tantrum Bills linebacker Kawika Mitchell threw on the Twitter about his team’s acquisition of former Rams lineman Richie Incognito, who was released by his former team on Tuesday.↵
↵↵While Incognito has a reputation for drawing more than his share of personal foul penalties, the Bills are a team that has started as many as three rookies at a time on their offensive line. As they say, beggars can’t be choosy. But they can complain after the fact, apparently. Here’s what Mitchell, who’s spent most of the year on injured reserve, had to say Wednesday night.↵
↵↵⇥BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT THIS YR. THE GUYS A BUM. DIRTY AND ALWAYS...↵⇥↵⇥... WILL BE. REALLY WISH I WAS PLAYIN RITE NOW. SERIOUSLY... I KNO WE’RE N NEED OF OLINE BUT THIS GUY SUKS BALLS.↵⇥
↵↵↵If you’re a NFL layperson, that is generally not a highly sought commodity in an offensive lineman.↵
↵↵Perhaps Mitchell had a bad previous run-in with Incognito on the field when Mitchell was with the Giants. And since he’s not going to be on the field until next year at the earliest, he and Incognito may be able to avoid any potential ugly run-ins, at least for a while. While Twitter may be still a relatively new medium for player communication with the outside world, you would think not bashing teammates, present or future, would be among the first lessons imparted to them by the team.↵
