As I type, Washington, DC is being walloped by the snowstorm that’s engulfing both the Northeast and the sports news cycle. I never thought I would say this, but it’s a good thing the Redskins are playing on Monday night rather than Sunday.
Redskins Have Two Days To Remove 25 Million Pounds Of Snow
↵Why? Because before they can play at FedExField, the Redskins have to move 25 million pounds of snow.
↵
↵"The Washington Redskins will remove an estimated 25 million pounds of snow from FedExField in preparation for Monday night's home game."
↵
↵Apparently they’re employing upwards of a thousand people to move the snow, but still. TWENTY-FIVE MILLION POUNDS.
