The Bills Can Still Totally Make It Into The Playoffs

Surprisingly, the 2009 Buffalo Bills still have a chance of making it into the postseason. Sports Club Stats puts their odds at roughly 0.007% entering Sunday’s game against the Patriots.

↵For them to win the division, they need to win the rest of their games to finish at 8-8. The Dolphins and Jets will preferably lose the rest of their games to fall short at 7-9. So will the Patriots, who will finish at 8-8. Since the Bills, given this scenario, will split their two games with New England, the tiebreaker will rest on who has a superior common-opponent record. That, friends, would be the Bills.
