Yankee’s To Pay $25.7 Million Championship Tax

No one ever said winning championships was easy. Or cheap.

↵The Yankees were hit with a $25.7 million luxury tax after this past season’s payroll ended up at $220 million. To give you a little perspective, the Marlins’ entire opening day payroll was $21.8 million.
