Giants-Redskins An Ugly Game, Even Uglier Fight

By the time the fourth quarter rolled around in Monday night’s Giants-Redskins game, things were already well out of reach. That doesn’t mean emotions weren’t running high between these two rivals. If anything, the one-sided nature of the game may have been the catalyst for a brawl.Players from both teams got together and it appeared to be Jacobs who threw the first punch to insight the brawl.

Big defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth then got into the mix and landed a strong right hand on Jacobs, which drew the only flag on the play.

He continued to throw punches wildly before the fight was stopped.

No players were ejected and Haynesworth was the only player assessed a penalty. The officials ignored or didn’t see Jacobs throw punches.

Expect the fines to flow like wine on Tuesday.
