As you may have heard by now, Brad Childress, head coach of the Vikings, reportedly yelled at his offense during halftime of Sunday night’s loss at Carolina. His tirade even included the starting quarterback -- gasp! -- Mr. Brett Favre himself. While most sports fans seem genuinely annoyed with Favre coverage, that hasn’t stopped just about everyone in the media talking about him and YellingGate. This onslaught of overkill has been led, of course, by ESPN.
Jay Bilas Is Annoyed By ESPN’s Favre Obsession Just Like Us
↵But sleep well tonight, sports fans, because there is hope that the Worldwide Leader is at least becoming somewhat self-aware. We have our white knight, and his name is Jay Bilas.

↵Following a SportsCenter in-game update during ESPN2's broadcast of Michigan State-Texas, about Favre getting yelled at by Childress:
↵Bilas: "Can I ask you a question: why is that news? I mean, a coach yells at his team at halftime and it's a big deal? I thought those NFL guys were tough. They can't get yelled at anymore?"
↵Dave O'Brien: "It's Favre. that's what it's all about."
↵
↵Saints, the both of you.
