Another season of fantasy football is wrapping up, and I’m still having trouble figuring out the way this season has developed.
Fantasy Stat Breakdown: End Game
- San Diego QB Philip Rivers has thrown for 300+ yards in three of the past four games. He has eight passing TDs over that stretch.
- Which fantasy-underrated QB has more passing yards than Donovan McNabb, more touchdowns than Matt Ryan and fewer interceptions than Peyton Manning? Jason Campbell. Wait, what?
- Cowboys’ WR Miles Austin has 1,123 receiving yards and 11 TDs...but he’s only started seven games.
- The Texans have only lost two out-of-division games all season. They’ve lost five games within their division.
- Sunday was QB Mark Sanchez’s fourth game with 3+ interceptions.
- The Browns scored 41 points in their victory over the Chiefs...and had 66 total passing yards.
- The Bills have given up an average of 165 rushing yards per game this season. This week they face the Falcons, who may or may not have Michael Turner back.
- The Broncos gave up 241 rushing yards against the Raiders on Sunday. They face the returning Brian Westbrook, LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick in Philadelphia this Sunday.
- That amazing Steelers-Packers game featured a total of 886 passing yards and six passing touchdowns without a single interception.
- Though they lost, the Lions out-gained the Cardinals on the ground 161 yards to 117.
