NFL Total Access recently put together a highlight reel of what they call the top ten moments of the decade. Lists like these are generally subjective, but I’m tempted to go out on a limb and say that this list is objectively wrong. I’ll let you watch it for yourself before I start whining.
Video: So, About This ‘Moments Of The Decade’ List

↵This list would be fine if it were called, “Most Inspirational Moments Of The Decade,” as it’s peppered with heartwarming moments. But “Top Ten Moments Of The Decade”? Santonio Holmes’ Super Bowl-winning catch is not here. Neither is David Tyree’s catch in Super Bowl XLII. Neither is Antonio Cromartie’s 109-yard field goal return, the longest play in the history of the NFL. Neither are several other moments I’m surely forgetting.
↵However, in the interest of issuing credit where deserved: there’s a solid case to be made for their number one choice. The Saints’ return to the Superdome following Hurricane Katrina was one of those moments that transcended sports. Just like everything Brett Favre has ever done, apparently.
