Get Ready To Hate Mercury Morris Again

Now that the final undefeated NFL team has fallen, it’s time for one of the American sports’ least-enjoyable traditions. The public gloating of the ‘72 Dolphins, who as you know, are the only team to finish an NFL season undefeated. (Ssshh...don’t mention the fact that Miami played one of the easiest schedule in the entire history of the NFL that year...) Tomorrow, I’m sure, we’ll see a photo of RB Mercury Morris and some of the other Dolphins toasting champagne over the Colt’s loss. Classy? You betcha.

↵At least there won’t be a commercial about it this year. I think.
