I got to see the first two of those contests, losses to Portland and Texas A&M in Anaheim, and have to agree that Minnesota has a lot of work to do before the Big Ten season starts. The closing non-conference stretch should give them a confidence boost, but Tubby Smith needs to preach the benefits of consistency to his club before the rigors of league play begin.
