Mark Sanchez closed out the first half with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Braylon Edwards to put the Jets on top 16-10.

However, early in the second half he left the game with a knee injury, courtesy of one those new-fangled slides we’ve been hearing so much about. Sanchez limped during the next play and left the field in a hurry to get checked out.
No word on whether or not he’ll return. It’s the second-straight game Sanchez has injured himself on a sliding play.
