You Need Not Give Chris Johnson Your Spare Change

If you follow Chris Johnson’s Twitter feed (Titans, not Raiders) closely, you’re privy to a lot of small talk between him and DeSean Jackson. Also, you’ll see a lot of references to Johnson calling himself homeless or without a home.↵↵Obviously we know this to be patently untrue, unless he’s pulling a St. Francis of Assisi type of thing and swearing off all worldly possessions. I think we can probably scratch that one off as not being the case. So what’s the deal? New slang we haven’t been clued into? Nope. Apparently it’s an arcane motivation anecdote.↵
↵↵⇥Training in the Southern California sand during the offseason he came upon a slogan: Go hard or go home.↵⇥↵⇥Johnson came to label himself as homeless to fit in with the hard work: If he had no home to go to, he had no choice but to go hard.↵⇥
↵↵↵Well that’s a relief. Considering the Titans’ season ends on Sunday, you don’t want Chris to suffer through nine months of sleeping on a park bench or a warm grate. Perhaps this off-season he’ll spot a “do or die” sign so we can have the first NFL player to refer to himself as the walking undead.↵
