Cristiano Ronaldo Does More Sit-Ups Than You Take Steps

It’s important to have excellent core strength if you’re going to be playing a sport as strenuous as soccer. Beyond a certain point, however, and you’re just working your abs for show.Which is fine if you need to have that super ripped six-pack look. Which apparently Cristiano Ronaldo does, as he spends at least an hour every day doing sit-ups.

⇥“Fitness freak Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the secret to his toned body - he does 3,000 sit-ups a day. ⇥⇥⇥A source said of the Real Madrid winger: “He can spend well over an hour every day toning his abs, sometimes while watching telly.”⇥⇥

I don’t know. 3,000 in an hour is a pretty ridiculous pace. You can mess up your back with that amount of sit-ups, though I suppose it’s totally worth it to be all veiny and defined. The chicks dig it, I hear.

Sports Crackle Pop draws the connection to Mike “The Situation” on MTV’s epic new horrorshow, Jersey Shore. How can you turn him down when he looks like Rambo when he takes his shirt off?
