On Friday night, Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour set a Mid-America Conference record by scoring his 148th career all-purpose touchdown. He’s thrown for 101 passing touchdowns, 46 rushing touchdowns, and for good measure, a receiving touchdown. Having played 51 career games for Central Michigan, that’s an average of nearly three touchdowns per game.
Dan LeFevour’s Record-Breaking 148 Touchdowns, In Perspective
↵To put this in perspective: entering Saturday’s game at Alabama, Florida’s Tim Tebow has 140 career all-purpose touchdowns to his name. Peyton Manning, in his most touchdown-iest four-year period (2004-07), was responsible for 146 end-zone scores. William Henry Harrison, the ninth President of the United States, scored only six touchdowns, but to be fair, he was only in office for a month before succumbing to pneumonia.
