Injury prone. It’s a label that has followed Texans quarterback Matt Schaub the past two seasons as he has failed to start more than ten games in either year for Houston. So when he got knocked out last week before even attempting a pass on a Derrick Harvey sack, it seemed like history was repeating itself for Houston.
Schaub Expects To Play On Sunday
↵Fortunately, Schaub returned before halftime after separating his left (non-throwing) shoulder, and finished with 207 yards, a touchdown and a pick. And after undergoing an MRI on his shoulder yesterday, Schaub is optimistic about his chances of playing this weekend when the Texans take on the Seahawks, according to Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com.
↵While this is obviously great news for Schaub owners, Andre Johnson owners should also be elated. Rex Grossman was even worse than Grossman-esque, struggling to complete passes, and throwing an interception during his brief stint last week. With Seattle, St. Louis, and Miami on the schedule during the fantasy playoffs, Schaub and Johnson could carry quite a few teams to a fantasy title.
