Of All the Cricket Plays You’ll See Today, This One Is Definitely the Most Outstanding

There may be no sport I understand less the cricket. I honestly haven’t the first clue as to how it works, although I’ve heard that matches sometimes last days. So I guess it’s like a longer, more boring version of baseball. I’m shocked it hasn’t caught on in the states.↵

↵You don’t need to understand any of the rules, however, to appreciate the brilliance of this catch made by Australia’s Adam Voges in a recent match. (Are they called matches? Or games? I always default to “match” when referring to foreign sports. And is it even called a “catch” in cricket? Whatever, just watch.) ↵

↵Yeah, sure that was extraordinary. But why didn’t he just use his glove? What a showoff.
