Suns Have Celtics Running, But Boston’s the Team on Pace For 140

↵It’s halftime in Phoenix, with Boston sans K.G. leading the Suns sans Amare 68-54. Yep, that’s the Celtics on pace to come close to 140 points, which tells us two things: Phoenix has been able to get Boston playing fast, but the C’s don’t mind.

↵This game has been much more up-tempo than Doc Rivers intimated he’d like during the pre-game; Phoenix has taken the ball up the court quickly time after time. Usually, they score. Leandro Barbosa dominated in the opening minutes, with Phoenix putting up 11 points in the first three minutes. But Boston took over by drawing fouls, grabbing offensive rebounds and hitting almost every shot.

↵Phoenix has the game at the speed it wants ... and Boston is winning by 14. So the Suns need to maintain the Helter Skelter mode while figuring out a way to slow down Rajon Rondo (22 points) and Ray Allen (21) ... or hoping the Celtics tire out.
