Leon Lott Explains Investigation of Phelps

Richland County, SC Sheriff Leon Lott felt the need to put on a wig Monday and respond to criticisms of his decision to pursue charges against Michael Phelps for allegedly smoking pot in Lott’s county. It starts out pretty amusing and quickly gets boring after he stops using props, but somewhere around the 3:40 mark is this highlight:↵↵⇥“I’ve seen people die from smoking marijuana.”↵↵That would make Leon Lott the first person in recorded history to ever witness someone die from smoking pot. I can’t believe he withheld this information from the public up till now. Although it certainly explains why he hates the devil weed so much.↵
↵
↵Anyway, watch the entire speech so we can feel like we’ve contributed a few seconds to those 15 minutes of fame that Lott isn’t interested in:↵
