Team USA Walks Off to Stay Alive in the WBC

The new coolest thing for people to do is hate on the WBC. And that’s fine. We all need something to hate. (I find it’s best to shift your rage from day-to-day. Yesterday, I hated St. Patrick’s Day. Today, I hate this guy. It’s therapeutic.) But what happened in last night’s USA-Puerto Rico

game was hard not to enjoy ... even if you hate baseball, you still love America, I assume. ↵

↵The U.S. was down two runs going into the bottom of the ninth. They managed to load the bases thanks to a combination of singles and walks, and then come within one when PR walked in a run. That set the stage for David Wright to get his American hero on by doing this:↵
