Scott Wimmer NASCAR Nationwide Series Advance: Richmond International Raceway

FOR THE TROOPS – Scott Wimmer will be making an appearance this Friday at a hospitality event for 100 guests from the Walter Reed Medical Center. Soldiers at the VFW/Rheem hospitality tent will have the opportunity to get autographs and photos with Wimmer and 12 other NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers.

GONE FISHIN' – To promote Friday's Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond International Raceway, Scott Wimmer recently participated in a media advance in Norfolk, Virginia. Wimmer and NNS driver Brendan Gaughan went fishing with members of the media, did on-site interviews, and publicized this weekend's race.

CHASSIS INFORMATION – Key Motorsports will be utilizing chassis #008 at this weekend's race at Richmond International Raceway. #008 was most recently driven to a 19th place finish by Scott Wimmer at Phoenix International Raceway.

OUTSIDE LOOKING IN – Missing the field for last weekend's race at Talladega Superspeedway, Key Motorsports did not fare well in the points. Only three points outside the locked-in top-30 going into last weekend, the No. 40 now sits 34th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner points, and must continue to be qualified in on time.
