UConn, South Florida Battle Through Dance

It’s early in the day, but I’m tempted to say I won’t watch anything stranger than this today. Via The College Baseball Blog, we get this outstanding video from the Big East Baseball Championship.↵
↵
↵↵(Apologies about the size of the video and the scrolling. You’ll wanna full screen it anyway.)
↵
↵Evidently a five-hour rain delay was at the heart of this one. At a certain point, I suppose madness set in and two the sides decided that if they couldn’t settle things on the field, they would settle them with a danceoff.↵↵If we’re grading this thing out, I think it’s tough to not give South Florida the edge. I know the two sides will play today at 10 a.m. ET to make up what was eventually a postponed game, but even if UConn pulls out the victory on the field, there will always be an asterisk. They didn’t have the dancing spirit in their hearts. ↵

↵↵(UPDATE: And Chris Mottram reminds me there was another storied danceoff last season, which can also be found here on The College Baseball Blog. At one point, they even start yelling “DANCEOFF!”)↵
