Who’s Your Daddy, Stephen Curry?

The hoops bloodlines in the Curry family are pretty well known to, well, everyone at this point. From the initial breakout during the 2008 NCAA Tournament that featured numerous shots of proud father Dell, and mother Sonya, to the BracketBuster weekend this year that featured Stephen and brother Seth playing in back-to-back games on ESPN’s family of networks, most hoops fans can recite the Curry family tree by now.

↵↵That knowledge doesn’t seem to extend to the NBA. In an interview with The Baseline, Curry talked about the interview process at the recently completed Combine in Chicago:↵

↵↵⇥One team -- I won’t tell what team it was -- but one team asked who my dad was and what his name was, which was kind of funny. I figured that was a given, but that was good.↵↵↵This is the kind of thing that, say, your mom might not know. But for an NBA personnel type to be that blissfully unaware? Well, Curry probably did the person a favor by not naming names, because the person in question would probably be in search of a new line of work.↵
