The White Sox Face Rejection Once Again

This has to be a familiar feeling for Ozzie Guillen and Co. They get the nerve up to ask the prettiest girl to the dance, only to get shot down. OK, shake it off Ozzie. There’s someone out there for you!↵↵Oh look, there’s Roy Oswalt. You’re only four games back from first, and meanwhile the Astros are last in the NL Central. Surely he’ll come join your squad, right? ↵

↵

↵↵

↵↵From the Houston Chronicle:↵

↵↵⇥The Chronicle has learned that Oswalt would invoke his no-trade clause if the White Sox attempted to acquire him. ↵⇥↵⇥Oswalt has a no-trade clause, and if he ever waived it to go play in Chicago it would be with the Cubs and not the White Sox.↵⇥

↵↵↵Not only does Oswalt not want to get together with you, but you might have to watch him live happily ever after with your neighbor? That has to sting.↵

↵↵I fully expect this to devolve into the kind of thing where Guillen gets the “It’s not you, it’s me” talk from Jason Marquis. Then he will truly know rock bottom.↵
