UPDATE: Ochocinco Face Tattoos Are Fakes

UPDATE: So yeah, the “tattoos” were fake if I’m reading this latest Twitter update correctly. Please go away, Chad. I’ll tip my cap to C. Trent, who called it. Personally, I’m done writing about him until the season. It’s like I kept touching a hot stove, but I’m done. Leaving the original post up as a reminder of why you can’t really take anything from him at face value.

I know by posting this, I’m only encouraging him, but here goes. Chad Ochocinco (ugh, did I just type that?) got face tattoos yesterday.↵

↵↵

↵↵Ochocinco (pains me every time I type that) is seemingly addicted to Twitter and he posted an update about the facial tattoos yesterday. He also posted about Ochocinco-brand condoms (/vomits).↵

↵↵Robert Littal has a post on how it’s not a big deal. In some ways I totally agree. But in other ways, the guy is like walking fodder for a 24-hour news cycle. And honestly, the guy just begs for the attention -- both good and bad. Let me run you through this again:↵

↵↵-- Once raced a horse on foot.↵

↵↵-- Changed his last name to some mangled Spanglish version of “85.”↵

↵↵-- Got into a halftime altercation with a coach during a playoff game.↵

↵↵-- Repeatedly put himself in front of his team by picking up absolutely idiotic penalties for celebrations. (The celebrations, by the way, were hilarious for a while, but when the NFL cracks down and you hurt your team, you gotta stop my man!)↵

↵↵That doesn’t even get into the ridiculous contract demands, bizarre mood swings in public disputes with teammates and other weirdness that follows Chad.↵

↵↵So yeah, as it turns out, the media doesn’t have to do a whole lot of twisting with anything he does to make it seem like he’s a little unhinged.↵

↵↵(H/T to Fansided)↵
