When Ed O’Bannon topped The Dagger’s list of legendary college ballers turned NBA duds and became the subject of a big Washington Post feature, a lot of people were poking around wondering what the heck ever happened to the guy -- or his brother for that matter. In a video that I’m guessing was prompted by The Dagger’s list, we get a brief check-in with both Ed and Charles. And unlike a lot of people who don’t quite reach the pro aspirations many held for them, the O’Bannons seem to be living normal, well-adjusted lives.↵

↵Ed, who was the more celebrated collegiate player, works at a car dealership and was recently named coach of the Henderson International School boys’ team. No, he’s not making a max deal, but he at least looks content, and he certainly didn’t flame out in some embarrassing public manner like you might see from, say, a celebrated NFL QB prospect. (Cough cough, Ryan Leaf.)↵↵Charles, seems to have carved himself out a nice career over in Tokyo. Really, any time you log a decade anywhere, you’ve done well for yourself.↵
↵↵And yes, they heard the Lil Wayne line from the NSFW “Cannon (Remix),”: “Listen close I got duct tape and rope, I’ll leave you missin’ like the (expletive) O’Bannons.” I’m just saying, if that Lil Wayne/Charles O’Bannon game happens, it’s viral internet gold. Someone set that up.↵
