Minnesota’s Memorial Stadium was the Gophers’ home until they made the↵colossal error of moving into the Metrodome in 1981, and it saw the best of↵Gopher football, including three national titles. The Metrodome error↵will be corrected this fall when the Gophers open up a new on-campus↵stadium unfortunately named after a bank.↵↵In preparation or celebration the University of Minnesota has just↵erected a tribute website for their old digs. It contains a lot of e-heroin for the↵college football history junkie, but perhaps nothing as historically↵awesome as this young child meeting the buck-toothed demon who would↵haunt her nightmares until her mid-20s:↵
