Bengals Fans Are in Regular-Season Form When It Comes to the Despair Department

The Who Dey Revolution militia is at it again and the season hasn’t even started. If you aren’t familiar with this web site, you must go read what they call Project Mayhem, a Fight Club reference for the uninitiated. The whole thing is aimed at Bengals owner/GM Mike Brown, who has managed to run the Bengals from one faceplant to the next for nearly two decades now. They want him out ... not now, but yesterday.

↵↵In the past, the site asked people to donate $19 -- one for each year Brown had been in control -- to put up billboards throughout Cincinnati. The $19 donation was once again requested, only this time around it was for flyovers at Bengals training camp. (No, they aren’t just for keeping Reggie Miller away from your wife anymore.) The image above is from one of those flyovers, the fourth to this point during camp.↵

↵↵It’s another savvy PR move from WDR. They know the spotlight is on the Bengals with HBO’s Hard Knocks series in camp and it’s probably the only national spotlight that will shine on the dreadful Bengals all season long. The HBO series debuts this week, so keep an eye out for any mention of the flyovers and long live our comrades over at Who Dey Revolution! ↵

↵↵Full disclosure: I donated to the billboard campaign and declined to renew my season tickets this year.↵
