Offsides: Runner’s Gender in Question

↵↵Caster Semenya easily won the women’s 800 meter for South Africa at the World ↵Championships on Wednesday. The only hitch is that she may not be a female. ↵Now, track and field’s ruling body wants to have the runner’s gender tested. ↵Suspicious factors prompting the test request include her deep voice, masculine ↵build, a burgeoning mustache and the ease of her victory.↵
↵↵We are not sure if this is a case of hormone therapy, or if she’s just an inter-gendered↵runner, or if she was a resident in South Africa’s District 9. But whatever the case maybe, ↵she sure seems quite alien to the other female runners.↵
