DO NOT WANT: Shaq in a Pink Speedo (Or Another Color Speedo For That Matter)

I have no real problem if Shaq wants to make some crummy show where he challenges other athletes. Such is the case with Shaq Vs., where he’ll be taking to the beach for volleyball in one of his upcoming challenges against Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh.↵↵The penalty if he loses? He must make a two-mile walk in a pink Speedo, according to LAist.↵

↵↵Isn’t this show supposed to be on ABC? I’m just saying, a Speedo that’s a few sizes too small, as the story puts it, would lead to a few “too hot for TV” moments probably.↵

↵↵Perhaps Shaq’s latest grab at attention is a sign this show isn’t really coming together the way The Big Witness Protection had hoped. LAist notes that Shaq has been unsuccessful in courting both Lance Armstrong and David Beckham for his show. Evidently, being BFFs on Twitter isn’t enough to get someone on a TV show with you.↵

↵↵So yeah ... a show that so far features a cameo by Ben Roethlisberger and a few Olympic volleyball players? Does ABC have the option to bury this at like 10 a.m. on Saturdays?↵
