Best In The Modern Era?

As a UT fan I was well aware that when Texas beat the Aggies last year they slipped past Notre Dame into 2nd place on the all-time wins list. I did not know, but do now thanks to Corn Nation, that Nebraska has the most wins in FBS football since 1970, with 383, a good 27 ahead of second place. Considering the modern era began in earnest right around 1970 (the ‘69 Longhorns were the last all-white team to win the national title), Huskers fans can plausibly claim to be the top team in the modern era.
