It’s tough living in Cleveland. Lebron’s leaving in a year (the Global Icon will not be able to resist the allure of the Big Apple). The city hasn’t won a major sports championship since forever. And now the floundering Indians are considering shutting down heart throb Grady Sizemore for September.
Sizemore Might Be Shut Down
Cleveland.com reports:
They’re discussing shutting down center fielder Grady Sizemore so he can undergo surgery on his left elbow before the season ends on Oct. 4. Sizemore has been playing with an inflamed lining in his elbow joint since spring training.
“We’re working our way through that right now,” said manager Eric Wedge as to when Sizemore would have the surgery.
Wedge added that Sizemore is going to need the operation no matter if it’s done before the end of the season or afterward.
But don’t worry Cleveland fans. As you know so well, there’s always next year.
