After practicing yesterday, Matt Schaub has declared himself ready to start the Texans’ season opener against the Jets. This certainly qualifies as good news for the Texans’ oft-injured signal caller, although, by his own admission he’s not back to full strength. Schaub told the Houston Chronicle:
Schaub to Start Week 1

↵It's getting better...We're getting there. In this business, I don't know if you really ever are 100 percent.

↵For now, Schaub remains a solid start, even against an underrated Jets defense. The Texans offense is too good - maybe not the best fantasy offense, but definitely one of the top few - for Schaub not to rack up respectable stats. Expect 260 yards and two touchdowns this week.
