Mickelson Struggling as BMW Championship Gets Underway

In his first action in a month, Phil Mickelson has struggled out of the gate. Phil is currently one over par and tied for 37th with two holes to play. He has a birdie and two bogeys on his card for the day and is six shots off the pace set by Rory Sabbatini’s Steve Marino’s 5-under rounds of 66.

Tiger Woods posted a -3 68 and played very solid golf all day. FedEx Cup points leader Steve Stricker finished with a 1-over 72 and is tied with Mickelson. Check out the full leaderboard here.
