Rockies Sweep Reds, Now Within Two of Dodgers

The hottest team in baseball isn’t showing any signs of slowing down after beating the Reds today, 5-1:

By sweeping four games from the Reds, the Rockies wrapped up a 9-1 homestand — one of their best in franchise history. Next, Colorado embarks on a nine-game road trip that includes three in San Francisco.The Rockies now sit just two games back from the Dodgers in the race for the National League West. It may all come down to the final series of the season as the Rockies and Dodgers will square off Oct. 2 for a three game set.
