With both teams trading quick touchdown drives in the final minutes of the half, the Steelers went for a last-second Hail Mary throw that was intercepted by Cortland Finnigan. It was nearly a disaster for Pittsburgh when Finnigan returned the pick 80 yards, nearly cutting and weaving his way to the end zone for a back breaking touchdown.
Tied At Halftime; Troy Polamalu ‘Questionable’ To Return
In the scramble to recover the blocked field goal late in the second quarter, Troy Polamalu had his leg caught under several players. After receiving attention from trainers on the sidelines, he was escorted to the locker room for further evaluation.
NBC has since reported that Polamalu is “questionable” to be return with a left knee injury.
