Mangini Hasn’t Heard from the NFL Yet

As the former coach of the New York Jets last year, Eric Mangini was right in the middle of the Favre Injury Report controversy. So far, Mangini says the NFL has not contacted him about the situation, but offered this commentary on how he’ll do things in Cleveland.

Mangini plans to follow the same procedures with the injury report in Cleveland.“The approach has really been consistent from my perspective,” he said. “We’re always going to try to work to follow the rules in the strictest fashion. That won’t change. I respect the rules and I’m going to follow them here.”
