Tiger Woods shot a 4-under 67 and Mark Wilson (a Chicagoland native) shot a 5-under 66 to tie for the lead at 7-under after the 2nd round of the BMW Championship. Rory Sabbatini had been at 7-under earlier in the day but dropped a shot to finish one behind the leaders heading into the weekend. Padraig Harrington joins Sabbatini in the group at 6-under.

FedEx Cup points leader Steve Stricker, who struggled to a 1-over par yesterday, continued his struggles today and finished the day ten strokes off the pace. Woods can reclaim the FedEx Cup points lead from Stricker this weekend with a victory this weekend.

Other notables include Phil Mickelson, who played better on Friday, shooting a 2-under 69 to stay five strokes behind the leaders, and Ernie Els, who shot a 4-under 67 for his first round under par since being criticized by Woods for his work ethic last week.
