A complete game shutout by John Lackey helped the Angels complete a sweep of the Seattle Mariners and extended their division lead to 5 games over the Texas Rangers. Torii Hunter's tiebreaking two-run homer in the 4th was enough for the Angels, who eventually won 3-0. At 84-55, their magic number sits at 19. Winners of six of their last eight, the Chicago White Sox are next up for the Angels.
