The Dream is Dead

I’m not sure what effect this has on Vince Young, but the Miracle of Ryan Perrilloux was not to be. Driving with a chance to win, Perrilloux was sacked by Jacobbi McDaniel and fumbled. Florida State’s Kevin Mcneil returned it 34 yards for a touchdown. Game, dream over. So much for David Bowie.

↵Possibly of note: Florida State missed its final two extra points, and while that didn’t matter in this game, it was a microcosm of their efforts tonight: technically not crippling, but still fundamentally inept, and a possibly ominous harbinger for the rest of the season.
