Fernando Rodney didn’t think he deserved a three-game suspension for throwing a ball into the press box, so he appealed. For all his hard work -- and impressive ball-chucking skills -- the suspension has been reduced a whopping one game:

“Just emotion … suspended two games,” he said.Rodney said he was also fined $3,000.
“For two days, $3,000 is a lot of money,” he said.
Rodney will begin serving his suspension tonight when the Tigers play the Blue Jays. He’ll also miss the first game of a three-game series against Kansas City on Tuesday.
